NEW BUILDING..

April 25, 2009
1&1 Cebu has moved to its new building at i3 Building.  As an employee, I too have the chance to stay and work in the said building.  The building is bigger and has new machines.  Its got more function rooms and the pantry is bigger as well.  The new building although it’s not yet fully furnished but it is already operational.  1&1 Cebu has 2 floors, 15th and 16th which gives me the impression that our HRD may call more applicants this year.

I would admit that the new building helps me motivate myself to do more with my current career at 1&1.  Right now, I know that there are so much things to be expected with 1&1, and I will be there as it continually grow and expand.  If you want to be a part of that expansion, you can visit us at 15th/16th flr. i3 Building I.T. Park Lahug Cebu City.

Mr. Ted Failon..

April 18, 2009

The wife of ABS-CBN news anchor Ted Failon is in critical condition after being shot in the head.
A police report quoted Failon as saying his wife, Trinidad, was shot in their home in Tierra Pura while Failon was in ABS-CBN. Authorities are now trying to determine whether the shooting was an attempted homicide or a suicide attempt.  As of posting, Failon and the persons who were inside the house at the time of the incident had already taken a paraffin test.  A reenactment of the incidents inside the Failon residence was also done for the police.  In a statement, Failon said he didn’t finish his program on dzMM this morning after he talked to his wife on the telephone.  Failon said he immediately went home and found the door to their bathroom locked.

When they finally opened the door, he found his wife bloodied and then rushed her to the hospital.  “Hindi ko na tinapos ang aking programa sa dzMM kaninang umaga matapos kong makausap ang aking asawa sa telepono. Kaya umuwi ako kaagad at natagpuan kong nakakandado ang pinto ng banyo,” he said. “Pinabuksan ko ang pinto at natagpuan ko ang aking asawa na duguan kung kaya’t itinakbo ko siya kaagad sa ospital.”

Police Superintendent Frank Mabanag, chief of the Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, said the couple had an argument Tuesday night after which Trinidad left the house with a sibling and returned only on Wednesday when Failon was at ABS-CBN.

Mabanag said Trinidad apparently left a suicide note which is now in the possession of the police. Sorry, sorry Papa Mama”

Mabanag lamented that the household helpers of Failon cleaned the bathroom where Trinidad was found and that Failon returned the gun to the bedroom instead of leaving the scene for the police to examine. These should not have been done, Mabanag said.

Initial reports said the couple had an argument in Failon’s car on Wednesday, but this was denied by Mabanag.  As of posting, the hospital refused to give details on the condition of the broadcaster’s wife.  Dr. Salvador Corpuz, New Era Medical Director, said that Failon gave strict orders not to divulge any information about the incident.

In a statement, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. appealed to the public to respect the privacy of Failon’s family.  “We appeal to everyone to please respect the privacy of Ted Failon and his family,” ABS-CBN Corporate Communications head Bong Osorio said. “His wife is fighting for her life.”

Mabanag said they are now checking every angle that might have led to the incident.

I was shocked when I heard about this one.  I was actually watching TV when this news exploded so I feel that I am one of the first people who heard this news.  I personally like Mr. Failon because for me he is a man of principle and knows what is right and wrong.  I can’t hardly believe a man like Mr. Failon could experience a big problem such as this.  Truly , I believe that we cannot control the situation, anything could happen at anytime and anyplace.  Well, right now I hope Mr. Failon could sort this things out.  I also hope he will remain strong for his children and for the people who support him.

GRADUATES..

Filipino children enter public school at about age four, starting from Nursery up to Kindergarten. At about seven years of age, children enter a primary school (6 to 7 years). This is followed by secondary school (4 years). Students then sit for the College Entrance Examinations (CEE), after which they enter collegiate school (3 to 5 years). Other types of schools do exist, such as Private schools, Preparatory schools, International schools, Laboratory High Schools and Science High Schools. Also, several nationalities, such as the Chinese, British, Americans, and the Japanese also have their own schools.

The school year in the Philippines starts in June of one year and ends in March of the next, with a two-month summer break for April and May, one week of semestral break (the last week of October), and a week or two of Christmas break.

I have a sad story about GRADUATES.  You know, I was not able to attend during my graduation day in High School for some lonely reasons.  Most people have very happy moments when they think about their high school days.  Well, not me, whenever I think about my high school days, the only thing that would come to my mind is the day when my English teacher and my Principal not allowing me to attend in my Graduation Day.  That’s probably one of the saddest moments that ever happened into my life.  You, what comes up in your mind when hear the word GRADUATES?

HOLY WEEK..

Holy Week (Latin: Hebdomada Sancta or Maior Hebdomada, “Greater Week” or Greek: Μεγάλη Εβδομάδα) in Christianity is the last week of Lent and the week before Easter. It includes the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) and Good Friday, and lasts from Palm Sunday (or in the Eastern, Lazarus Saturday) until but not including Easter Sunday, as Easter Sunday is the first day of the new season of The Great Fifty Days. It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ culminating in his crucifixion on Good Friday and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Holy Week in the Christian year is the week immediately before Easter. The earliest allusion to the custom of marking this week as a whole with special observances is to be found in the Apostolical Constitutions (v. 18, 19), dating from the latter half of the 3rd century and 4th century. In this text, abstinence from flesh is commanded for all the days, while for the Friday and Saturday an absolute fast is commanded. Dionysius Alexandrinus in his canonical epistle (AD 260), refers to the six fasting days implying that the observance of them had already become an established usage in his time.

I was in the office on Maunday Thursday and Good Friday (04/09-10/09).  I have to be in the office for work but the next 2 days was my RD.  Unfortunately, I was not able to go to church and I can’t think of any reason why.  However, I’m proud to say that I was able to keep my promise not to use my Cellphone for a week as my penitence.  You, what was your penitence?

ME..

Hello guys,  well basically I came up with this blogsite for “reminiscing”purposes.  You see, it’s kinda good thing remembering what had happened not only with your life but also with the events in the present that soon to be called “past”.  This blogsite will display the memorable things happened under the sun, things that are worth sharing and posting for.  So, at the of the year I could reminisce and look back everything that happened to me and elsewhere with the help of this blogsite.

I do hope I could update this blogsite as much as I can until the year end. It would be nice if you could leave a comment if you are reading this or if you are reading my other posts.  That way, you could inspire me to post more posts.  At the end of the year, I would definitely publish or shall we say invite my other friends to visit this blogsite, for them to reminisce and look back to the things that happened in the past.

Thank you for dropping by and taking time to read this. Always remember, sex can make you happy without making you laugh.
